Abstract

Kota Pari Village has significant mangrove tourism potential, but the current admission ticket management system is still conventional and inefficient. This research aims to design a QR Code-based application that can optimize the process of purchasing and validating mangrove tourism entrance tickets. The research method used is research and development (Research and Development) with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research stages include needs analysis, system design, application development, and testing. The application was developed using mobile technology with the main features of digital ticket purchase, online payment system, and ticket validation via QR Code. This study uses data collection methods through interviews, observations, and literature studies. The results of the study show that the designed application can improve the ease of access for visitors, speed up the transaction process, and provide better control in travel ticket management. This application is expected to be an innovative solution in tourism management in Kota Pari Village, improve administrative efficiency, and support the development of digital technology-based tourism.
